To achieve our objectives in Sunflower Child Daycares, we organize thematic educational lessons daily:

During these lessons, children enhance their communication skills, expand their vocabulary, grasp fundamental mathematical concepts, learn to recognize letters in two languages, and read them, delve into English and Russian languages, develop fine motor skills, coordination, and musical aptitude, and unleash their creative talents. Every six months, we conduct assessments to gauge the overall development of the children. We regularly inspect toys for damage, disinfect them, and rotate play and educational materials according to the age group of the children at that time.

Three times a year, we host festive musical concerts for parents and relatives , and theatrical performances by our young learners.

  • Fall
    In the fall, we seize the opportunity to dress up in costumes and portray ourselves as cartoon characters and animals while going door-to-door for treats on Halloween.

  • Winter
    During the winter, our childcare center is visited by Ded Moroz (Russian Santa Claus) bearing gifts, and in the spring, we organize bunny relays and Easter egg hunts.
  • Spring
    In the spring, we plant vegetables and berries in the backyard and observe their growth throughout the summer. Additionally, we witness the life cycle and metamorphosis of butterflies and ladybugs.
  • Summer
    During the summer months, we hold water-themed a few times a week, where children dress in "swimwear" and enjoy playful water activities in the backyard.
Yearly Curriculum
In our yearly curriculum, we explore three captivating themes and introduce three Russian letters each month. In the fourth week of each month, we review and reinforce what we learned in the first three weeks.
